Try on the hair before you buy it, other than trying on a wig at the beauty supply store, it's almost impossible to try out a hair style before you commit to it. However, with Essence.com's Hot Hair App it's now possible!
The application for the iPad/iPhone, 2D bar codes, and a Hot Hair database is advertised as coming soon on Essence.com and it will allow women to try on hairstyles featured in the magazine's Hot Hair issue with subsequent themed updates available for seasons or special occasions like summer hair, wedding hair, etc. The app will also provide video or text tips on how to get and maintain a particular hairstyle.
I wonder if the Sisterlocks hairstyle will be included in the apps library of styles!
